3-Cyclohexene-1-carboxylic acid is a reactive organic compound with a boiling point of 147°C. It is a solvent that can be used as an acid catalyst in organic synthesis. 3-Cyclohexane-1-carboxylic acid was used to synthesize the stereoisomers of butyl vinyl ether and alkyl phenols. This compound also metabolizes into cyclohexane ring, primary alcohols, halides, fatty acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons.
