1-Chloro-1,2,2-trifluoro-2-methoxyethane is an organic compound that belongs to the class of chlorocarbons. It is a colorless liquid with a sweet odor and chemical formula CHClFCHOMe. 1-Chloro-1,2,2-trifluoro-2-methoxyethane has been shown to be a good solvent for reactions involving polar molecules such as water or alcohols.
