3-Chloro-4-fluorobenzaldehyde is a type strain that has been shown to have growth factor activity. It was found to have pharmacokinetic properties in rats and anticancer activity against human cancer cells of the genus Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) positive. 3-Chloro-4-fluorobenzaldehyde also inhibits fatty acid and epidermal growth factor production in cancer cells.
