Description:

1-Chloro-3,5-difluorobenzene is a colorless liquid with an isomeric mixture of two isomers. It can be used as a reagent in organic synthesis and has been shown to promote the reaction of ammonolysis by converting ammonia to amines. 1-Chloro-3,5-difluorobenzene can also be used to produce dichlorinated or trichlorobenzenes. This chemical has been shown to have vibrational, quantum mechanical, and raman spectra that are different from other chlorinated benzenes. The proton can be introduced into this compound through the addition of sodium hydroxide.
