Product Information
4-chloro-5-fluoro-2-nitroaniline (4CFNA) is a potent, selective inhibitor of pancreatic lipase. 4CFNA inhibits the activity of pancreatic lipase by binding to the active site, thereby preventing hydrolysis of triglycerides. This inhibition may be due to its ability to mimic the natural substrate, acylated triacylglycerols. 4CFNA has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on pancreatic lipase with a Ki value of 0.8 μM and displays selectivity over other enzymes such as chymotrypsin and trypsin.
