Description:
2-Chloro-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)aniline (2C3FA) is a synthetic compound that is used as an insecticide and a pesticide. It has been shown to be effective against a variety of pests, including cockroaches, ants, beetles, and fleas. 2C3FA was also used in the synthesis of ethane and peroxide and can be chlorinated to produce chloroform. This chemical is an important precursor for the production of other compounds such as dichloroethane and benzoylphenylurea.
