This process flow can be synthesized by reacting 4-chloro-2-fluorobenzenesulfonic acid with thionyl chloride in the presence of a base, such as pyridine. The substance is acidic and catalytic, which enables it to react with other substances. 4-Chloro-2-fluorobenzenesulphonyl chloride reacts with ammonia to form ammonium chloride, which is then converted into ammonium sulfate during acidification.
