Description

3-Cyclohexylpropanohydrazide (CPAH) is a hydrazide that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits the production of prostaglandins, which are inflammatory mediators. CPAH also has insecticidal activity and can be used as a pesticide in agriculture. 3-Cyclohexylpropanohydrazide is synthesized by reacting an acid hydrazide with benzene.
