Description:
1-(3-Chloropropyl)pyrrolidine hydrochloride is a synthetic intermediate for the synthesis of cediranib, an anti-angiogenic drug. This compound has been found to bind to amines with an intramolecular reaction. 1-(3-Chloropropyl)pyrrolidine hydrochloride is an alkylating agent that can react with both hydroxyl and amino groups in organic compounds. It has also been shown to be an efficient reagent for the synthesis of perfluorinated cyclic ethers.
