Description:

2-Cyano-2-(hydroxyimino)acetamide is a reactive oxime that can be used as a reagent to synthesize peptides. It is used in the synthesis of peptides with high efficiency and has been shown to be an effective reagent for the synthesis of peptides containing an N-terminal cysteine. 2-Cyano-2-(hydroxyimino)acetamide is used in the preparation of 1-hydroxy-7-azabenzotriazole, a carbodiimide. The product is also used as an additive in pharmaceutical preparations to increase their stability by preventing hydrolysis and oxidation.
