Description

3-Cyclopropylpyrazol-5-amine is a potent inhibitor of threonine synthase. It inhibits the enzyme's activity by binding to its active site and preventing substrate from entering the active site. The compound has been shown to have potent inhibitory activities against tuberculosis and cancer cells, as well as significant inhibitory activity against other enzymes such as phosphofructokinase, α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase, and serine hydroxymethyltransferase. 3-Cyclopropylpyrazol-5-amine has been found to be a potent antiproliferative agent that inhibits cellular proliferation in multiple tumor cell lines.
