Description:
3-Chloro-5-ethoxy-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde is an aldehyde that has been shown to be highly effective in treating nasopharyngeal cancer. 3-Chloro-5-ethoxy-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde is converted to the gaseous pyrazolone analog, which inhibits DNA synthesis and causes cell death. It has also been found to have cytotoxic properties against epidermoid carcinoma and other cancer cells.
