Description

2-[4-(4-Chloro-1,2-diphenyl-but-1-enyl)phenoxy]-N,N-dimethyl-ethanamine is a cytotoxic agent that inhibits protein kinase activity and blocks cell cycle progression at the G2/M phase. It has been shown to inhibit breast cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. Toremifene is an estrogen receptor antagonist that binds to the estrogen receptors on breast cancer cells, preventing binding of estrogens with these receptors. Toremifene also functions as an inhibitor of protein kinase activity and blocks cell cycle progression at the G2/M phase.
