4-(2-Chloroethyl)morpholine is a chemical compound that binds to the CB2 receptor, which is found in immune cells and the central nervous system. 4-(2-Chloroethyl)morpholine has shown significant cytotoxicity in cancer cells and has been shown to be active against inflammatory diseases, such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. It also has anxiolytic activity and may be used as a drug for the treatment of anxiety disorders. The binding affinity of 4-(2-chloroethyl)morpholine for the CB2 receptor was determined using caco-2 cells. The synthesis of this molecule was achieved by reacting 2-chloroethylamine with morpholine. Structural analysis revealed that it contains nitrogen atoms at positions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 on its quinoline ring system. This molecule exhibits an nmr spectrum with chemical shifts at 8.8 ppm (H-5), 7.3
