Description:

Cyclopropanecarboxamide is an acylation reaction product that belongs to group P2. It has been shown to have a cytotoxic effect on human liver cells, which may be due to its ability to form non-selective cations and induce the opening of cell membranes. Cyclopropanecarboxamide also has an anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in cell cultures. Cyclopropanecarboxamide is synthesized through a palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction between ethyl diazoacetate and unsaturated alkyl groups. The amide bond is formed by the condensation of the carboxylic acid group with ammonia or primary amines.
