Product Information

Name:
4-Chloroquinolin-2-amine
Synonyms:
  • 2-Amino-4-chloroquinoline
Description:

4-Chloroquinolin-2-amine is a noncatalytic, palladium-catalyzed process for the synthesis of amines from 2-chloroquinoline and adamantane. This reaction results in the substitution of the chloro group on the 2-chloroquinoline with an amino group. The yield for this reaction is high, however it does not work with other substituents on the 2-chloroquinoline. 4-Chloroquinolin-2-amine can be used in reactions that require amines without substituents such as amination or arylation.
