Description:
3-Chloro-6-(methylsulfonyl)pyridazine is a pyrimidine analog. It is preferentially nucleophilic and chlorinated, which means it can be used to inhibit the growth of Gram-positive bacteria. 3-Chloro-6-(methylsulfonyl)pyridazine has been shown to be effective against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
