Description:
2-Chloro-3’-deoxyadenosine (2CDA) is an analog of the nucleoside adenosine. It is a synthetic nucleoside that has been used in pediatric studies to evaluate its effects on disease activity and to study its toxicity. 2CDA has been shown to induce DNA damage in v79 cells and HL60 cells, suggesting that it may be useful for the treatment of cancer. 2CDA also has synergistic interactions with other drugs, including daunorubicin, which may increase the efficacy of chemotherapy.
