Description:
4-Chloro-6-hydrazinopyrimidine is a topoisomerase inhibitor that binds to the active site of DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. It is used in the treatment of cervical cancer, as well as other cancers. 4-Chloro-6-hydrazinopyrimidine has been shown to be cytotoxic to human dermal fibroblasts, which are cells that make up connective tissue in skin. This drug also inhibits the growth of monocytic cells, which are involved in immune responses and inflammation.
