- 1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid, 4-chloro-3-ethyl-1-methyl-
4-Chloro-3-ethyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylicacid is a food chemistry inhibitor that binds to the receptor protein of the insect respiratory complex. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cercospora, tebufenpyrad, and plutella in organic solvents. 4-Chloro-3-ethyl-1-methyl pyrazole is an imine compound with a pyrazole ring that has been shown to be toxic to insects. This inhibitor also inhibits helicoverpa, which is a moth larva.
