Description:
4-Cyanopiperidine HCl is a dehydrating agent that is used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, dyes, and organic chemicals. It has been shown to have a high degree of activity against Gram-positive bacteria. This compound has been shown to be an effective bactericide against Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and other bacterial species that are resistant to erythromycin and penicillin. 4-Cyanopiperidine HCl also has strong dehydrating properties, which can be used for drying agents or as a diluent for solvents.
