Description:
2-Chloro-5-fluoro-4-(methylsulfanyl)pyrimidine is a drug that inhibits the activity of protein kinases. It has been shown to be an inhibitor of the enzyme protein kinase, which is involved in the process of inflammation, and also has been shown to have inhibitory effects on cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) and p-glycoprotein. 2-Chloro-5-fluoro-4-(methylsulfanyl)pyrimidine has been shown to be effective against rheumatoid arthritis by inhibiting the production of inflammatory cytokines.
