3-Chloro-propyl)-methyl-carbamicacidtert-butylester is an isoform of the monoamine oxidase enzyme. It is a fluorophore that can be used to measure levels of endogenous amines, such as dopamine and serotonin, in the brain. 3CPCB has been shown to have high specificity for mao-A and has been used for the evaluation of this enzyme in various tissues.
