Description:
N-(5-chloro-4-methylpyridin-2-yl)acetamide (CMPAM) is a catalytic reagent that can be used in cross-coupling reactions. This compound has been shown to stabilize the active catalyst, which is necessary for the reaction to proceed. CMPAM also acts as an additive and is used in Buchwald type II reactions. It has been shown to be effective at low concentrations and has a family of benzyl catalysts that are related to it by structure.
