Description

Chromotropic acid disodium salt anhydrate is a chemical reagent that can be used as a hydrogen-bond donor in analytical chemistry. It is also used in wastewater treatment to remove organic matter, and has been shown to have a high detection sensitivity for peptide hormones. The adsorption mechanism of chromotropic acid disodium salt anhydrate is based on the hydroxyl group, which reacts with the malonic acid to form an ester.
