Carbamic acid ammonium salt is a sodium salt of carbamic acid. It is a reactive, solid phase microextraction (SPME) analyte that has been shown to be useful for the determination of ammonium and metal hydroxides in water vapor samples. Carbamic acid ammonium salt has also been investigated as a potential receptor for toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2). This compound has shown to have high affinity for zirconium oxide, which can be used as a catalyst in analytical methods involving glycol ethers.
