Description:
7-Chloro-3H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4,5-b]pyridine is a diazo compound that can be modified to produce an allosteric modulator. It has been shown to have efficacies in vivo and in vitro and is a ligand for the metabotropic glutamate receptor. 7-Chloro-3H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4,5-b]pyridine has been shown to have antipsychotic activity by acting as an antagonist on the D2 receptor. This drug has been shown to have efficacy against hyperlocomotion induced by amphetamine and MK801 in mice with low doses of this drug. The profile of this drug shows that it is active against metabotropic glutamate receptors and serotoninergic 5HT receptors.
