Description:
Cycloprate is a fatty acid amine that is produced by the hydrolysis of cyclopropane-fatty acid. It is used in polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for the detection of DNA sequences, and also has applications in the production of polymers. Cycloprate has been shown to be effective against mollusca, arthropoda, and carboxylate. The conjugates are detoxified by enzymes such as glutathione-S-transferases and cytochrome P450s. Cycloprate also exhibits fluorescence properties with a fluorescence detector.
