Product Information
1-Chloro-4-iodoisoquinoline is a pyridines that inhibits the catalytic subunit of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) and protein kinase C. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of colon cancer cells by inhibiting the synthesis of cyclin D1, which is essential for the G1 phase of the cell cycle. 1-Chloro-4-iodoisoquinoline has also been shown to induce apoptosis in colon cancer cells. This drug is an inhibitor of CDKs, which are important for regulating many cellular processes, including cell cycle progression and gene expression. 1-Chloro-4-iodoisoquinoline is also an inhibitor for p21, a cyclin dependent kinase that regulates growth and proliferation in both normal and cancerous cells.
