Product Information
4-Chloroquinazolin-6-ol (4CQO) is a small molecule which was first isolated in a biochemical assay. 4CQO has been shown to inhibit the activity of different enzymes, such as activators and inhibitors. This compound inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase 4A (PDE4A), which is involved in the regulation of inflammatory processes. In cellular assays, 4CQO inhibited the activity of GSK650394, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets multiple receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). The inhibition of PDE4A by 4CQO may be due to its ability to bind to heteroaromatic rings.
