Description

Cephaloglycin is a bicyclic heterocycle that belongs to the class of antimicrobial agents. It is used for the treatment of urinary infections, infectious diseases, and other bacterial infections. Cephaloglycin has been shown to have antibacterial efficacy against Streptococcus pyogenes, as well as penicillin-binding protein-mediated resistance. The drug inhibits water vapor-induced oxidative injury in human serum and has also been shown to have nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory effects.
