(1,5-Cyclooctadiene)-eta5-indenyl)iridium(I) is a crystalline solid that has been shown to be insoluble in water, alcohols, and ether. It is soluble in pentane, chloroform, benzene, and carbon disulfide. This compound is used as a reagent for the preparation of other compounds.
