The enzyme activities of Coenzyme Q7 depend on its concentration and are regulated by transcriptional control, which may be influenced by sodium citrate. Coenzyme Q7 has been shown to be effective in vitro for the treatment of kidney fibrosis, as well as for neuronal death and other conditions such as congestive heart failure.
