Product Information
Coreximine is a hydrogen-bonded drug that inhibits the enzyme dopamine β-hydroxylase, which converts dopamine to norepinephrine. It has been found to be more potent in inhibiting this enzyme than other drugs in its class due to its greater affinity for the active site of the enzyme. Coreximine has shown anticancer activity against thp-1 cells in vitro and is currently being investigated as a potential chemotherapeutic agent. Coreximine has also been shown to induce neuronal death in short-term exposure experiments and induce cardiac glycoside effects. Coreximine's optimum pH level is 7.5, with an optimal concentration of 2 mM at this pH level.
