Description:
6-Cyano-2-methylpyridine is a triazine derivative that undergoes a tautomeric change in the reaction solution from 6-cyano-2-methylpyridine to 2,6-dimethylpyridine. It reacts with chloride ions to form a coordination compound with a square planar geometry.
