Description

2-Cyclopentylphenol is a synthetic compound with potential impurities that can result in alkylation. It has been used as an animal health supplement and has been shown to enhance the growth of cells that are responsive to androstane receptor activation. 2-Cyclopentylphenol is not active against cervical cancer cells but does have the potential for use as a chemopreventive agent.
