Description:

4-Cyclohexylcyclohexanol is a fluorescent compound that can be used as a reagent for the detection of naphthalene. It has been shown to have a strong interaction with substituents on the aromatic ring. 4-Cyclohexylcyclohexanol can be used as a catalyst for reactions involving binding constants and molecular geometry. The cavity of 4-cyclohexylcyclohexanol is large enough to accommodate some organic molecules, which may result in macrocircular effects. The macrocyclic structure of 4-cyclohexol cyclohaxanol results in strong hydrophobic interactions, which makes it an ideal candidate for use in titration experiments.
