Description

2-((4-Chlorophenyl)(pyridin-2-yl)methoxy)-N,N-dimethylethanamine (ZDX) is a new nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has been developed for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and other allergy symptoms. ZDX blocks the action of the toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), which is an important regulator in the inflammatory pathway. ZDX has shown a potent anti-inflammatory effect in vitro on human serum and in vivo on mice with carbinoxamine induced inflammation. It is a controlled release preparation that can be administered orally or through injection.
