Description:

Corey lactone diol is a reaction solution that contains the functional groups of an alkene, a hydroxyl group, and an hydroxy group. It is typically used as an organic solvent and has been shown to inhibit TNF-α production in mice skin models. Corey lactone diol is synthesized by acylation of cholesterol with benzylidene acetal. The tnf-α levels in the serum can be reduced by taking this drug.
