Description:

Cyhalofop is a chemical herbicide that belongs to the group of fatty acid herbicides. It is used as a selective post-emergence broadleaf weed control agent that inhibits plant growth by interfering with cell membrane permeability. Cyhalofop has been shown to have a synergistic effect when combined with piperonyl butoxide, which inhibits microbial metabolism and may increase the concentration of cyhalofop in plants. The long-term toxicity of cyhalofop has not been studied in detail, but it does not appear to cause biochemical changes in rats exposed for one year at doses up to 5000 mg/kg body weight.
