Description:
2-Cyclohexylethylamine is a nitrogenous compound that has thermodynamic, transport, and kinetic properties similar to those of amines. It binds to the dopamine receptor and is used as a dietary supplement. 2-Cyclohexylethylamine is also used in radiotracer labeling for cardiac imaging.
2-Cyclohexylethylamine is an optical probe with strong absorption in the near-infrared region of the spectrum. It has been shown to be effective against Leishmania parasites in vitro.
