Cyclopropyl 4-methoxyphenyl ketone is an isoxazole that can be synthesized by reacting the Grignard reagent with cyclopropanecarboxylic acid. Cyclopropyl 4-methoxyphenyl ketone can be used as a biomolecular reagent to make nitrosobenzene and other heterocycles.
