Description

Cyclopropylboronic acid pinacol ester is a boronic ester that is used in organic chemistry for the synthesis of enantiomerically pure molecules. It is also used to introduce functional groups into organic molecules and as a catalyst for reactions involving nucleophilic and electrophilic compounds. This reagent can be prepared by reacting anhydrous cyclopropylboric acid with pinacol, followed by hydrolysis of the resultant ester.
