Product Information
- 9(10H)-acridinone, 2-chloro-
2-Chloroacridin-9(10H)-one is a benzodiazepine derivative that can be detected in urine samples. This compound is used as a calibration standard for the determination of oxazepam and other benzodiazepines in urine samples. The detection limit is 0.1 μg/ml, which can be achieved by injection of 1 ml of phosphate buffered saline (pH 7) into the sample. The assay procedure is laborious and requires fluorimetric analysis at an excitation wavelength of 360 nm and emission wavelength of 460 nm. Optimization has been performed to determine the amount of phosphoric acid needed to achieve a fluorescent signal with a maximum sensitivity.
