Description:
1-Chloro-[2,6]naphthyridine is a halogenated organic compound. It is synthesized by coupling of 2,6-dichloronicotinic acid and 2-chloro-1-fluoroethanone in the presence of ruthenium chloride as catalyst. This reagent can be used as an intermediate for synthesis of naphthyridines. 1-Chloro-[2,6]naphthyridine can also be used to prepare ligands that are useful in cross coupling reactions.
