Description:

8-Chlorotriazolo[4,3-A]Pyrazine is a synthetic compound that has been used as an oxidizing agent in organic synthesis. The reaction time for this compound is much faster than other oxidizing agents such as chromium (III) oxide or pyridinium chlorochromate. It also has higher yields and does not produce any byproducts under mild conditions. 8-Chlorotriazolo[4,3-A]Pyrazine is used to convert aldehydes into the corresponding carboxylic acid derivatives and can be used to synthesize pyrazines from aminopyrimidines. This compound is also catalyzed by palladium and can be used to synthesize trihydrate of 8-chlorotriazolo[4,3-A]pyrazine.
