2-Chloro-4-methyl-5-nitropyridine is a reactive chemical with a molecular weight of 164.2 g/mol and a melting point of 155 °C. It is used for the preparation of 3-amino-2-chloro-4-methylpyridine, which is a nitro compound that can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of triamines.
