1-Cyclohexylpiperazine is a dopamine receptor agonist that has been shown to inhibit the uptake of dopamine. It has been used in the treatment of tumors and has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect. 1-Cyclohexylpiperazine is a molecule that binds to the dopamine receptor and causes a conformational change in the receptor, which activates it. The binding of 1-Cyclohexylpiperazine to the human cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) enzyme may be inhibited by potassium dichromate. 1-Cyclohexylpiperazine has also been shown to increase muscle tone in mice, but not rats. It also inhibits quinoline derivatives such as xanthine oxidase, both at low and high concentrations.
