Description:

2-Chloro-1-methylpyridinium p-Toluenesulfonate is a drug that has been shown to be effective against cancer cells. It binds to the fatty acid of the cell membrane, which leads to an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane and causes its collapse. 2-Chloro-1-methylpyridinium p-Toluenesulfonate is an orally active compound that can be used for venoclysis or mass spectrometry. The drug has been shown to inhibit alpha-tocopherol, which may lead to a decrease in the production of prostaglandins and thromboxane A2.
