  • 3-Hydrazinopropionitrile
  • beta-Cyanoethylhydrazine

  • (2-Cyanoethyl)Diazanediium
Description:

2-Cyanoethylhydrazine is an inhibitor with inhibitory properties. It has been shown to have tuberculostatic activity in mice, inhibiting the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis by binding to the pyrazole ring of mycolic acid and blocking the formation of a hydrogen bond. 2-Cyanoethylhydrazine also inhibits bacterial growth by binding to methyl ketones and other compounds that are expressed by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The compound type is heterocyclic, consisting of an amide group and a heterocycle, which may be due to its ability to bind to inorganic acids such as sodium carbonate.
